The Model 5567 DO Wiper/Stirrer can actually do all of that. Heavily stocked catfish ponds or similar aquaculture applications where there is severe fouling of DO sensors can cause nonstop maintenance issues. The 5567 is a simple probe wiper that continuously spins with a dual-brush system to not only keep the sensor clean but to also provide sample stirring to ensure accurate DO readings.
By connecting the 5567 to your DO probe and having the probe attached to a Model 5200 monitor, a pond, or entire operation, can be controlled. Reduce maintenance on your DO probe and your aerating systems. Only aerate when the fish need it and save money on energy costs and wear and tear on your equipment.
In a typical application, the 5567 is buoy mounted mid-way in the water column to a DO probe. The DO probe is sending accurate DO data back to the Model 5200. The Model 5200 continuously monitors the DO conditions and controls the aeration paddle wheel.
