IAPSO Standard Seawater 38H - High Standard, salinity 38

High Salinity Standard Seawater, (S=ca.38) - accurately calibrated in conductivity ratio for the temperature range 15° to 30°C. This standard, produced by OSIL, is used in conjunction with P-series to determine instrument offset and linearity at higher salinities.  Pack Size 10 x 200ml Bottles.

The IAPSO Standard Seawater Service provides seawater standards of precisely known electrical conductivity ratio for the calibration of salinity measurement devices. It is the only salinity standard approved by all the major oceanographic bodies. IAPSO Standard Seawater is available in high quality, crimp sealed glass bottles. The bottle label carries information on conductivity ratio (R15), temperature and salinity according to the Practical Salinity Scale 1978 (PSS78).
